The Williwaw Lakes Trail, located in the Chugach Mountains of Alaska, offers impressive views of the surrounding glacial carved valley, snow-capped mountains, alpine lakes and ice-cold streams. The trail begins in the Glen Alps area just north of Anchorage. Set out on a brisk summer morning, traverse the gently weaving trail up to the crystal clear waters of the Williwaw Lakes before trekking on through snow-capped mountains shining in the sun and rugged Alaskan landscapes carved out long ago by receding glacial ice.
