This Cookie Policy explains how Active Theory, Inc. (“we”, “us”, and “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies like local storage on our websites, bitgym.com and app.bitgym.com (the “Service”). - Advertising measurement: We measure how well our ads work by telling advertising platforms when a visitor who arrived from one of their ads takes a key action, such as signing up, starting a checkout, or starting a subscription or trial. Specifically:
- Google Ads: we remember the Google click identifier from the ad in local storage and report these actions to Google.
- OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads): we use OpenAI’s measurement pixel, which sets cookies to remember the ad click and your browser, and reports page views and these actions to OpenAI. If you are signed in on app.bitgym.com, it also sends a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) copy of your email address and account ID so that OpenAI can match the action to the ad.
- AppsFlyer: when you tap a link to download our app, we use AppsFlyer to remember the campaign that brought you to our site for up to two hours, and pass it to AppsFlyer so that the app install can be attributed to that campaign.
Your Rights and How to Control Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can manage your preferences at any time by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our website.
If you choose to reject non-essential cookies, you may still use our website, though your access to some functionality may be restricted.

Third-Party Services
Our Service uses the following third-party services which are involved in our use of cookies:
- Plausible Analytics: To analyze website traffic. Plausible does not use cookies.
- Amplitude: To analyze how the web app at app.bitgym.com is used.
- Google Ads: To measure advertising conversions.
- OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads): To measure advertising conversions.
- AppsFlyer: To attribute app installs to the campaign that brought you to our site.
We also use Chargebee for our checkout process. When you are redirected to our checkout page, their cookie policy may apply. We advise you to review the policies of any third-party sites you visit.
