Exit Glacier, located in the Kenai Fjords region of Alaska, is one of the state’s most accessible glaciers. Start at ground level, heading toward spectacular views of the glacier moraine, before moving to higher ground for a view of the glacier receding deep into the canyon beyond. Continue to gain elevation along a snow-packed trail, emerging into a wide glacial valley before descending to take in spectacular views of the ice field and the receding Exit Glacier, all from a truly unique vantage point, standing directly on the Harding Ice Field.
