This tour will take you to the heart of the Zillertaler Alps, Austria. Here is one of many artificial water reservoirs created in the nation to become a European leader in hydroelectric power. But, as you will see in this tour, it is by no means inferior to a natural lake in picturesqueness. In this tour, you will follow a scenic trail along the lake and cross the 725m long, 131m tall Schlegeis dam. After crossing a quaint hanging bridge you will arrive at one of the oldest huts in the Eastern Alps - the Olperer Hut.
