Start from the banks of the Gesashi River, part of the Yambaru National Park in Okinawa. Only a few hundred meters from where the river flows into the Pacific Ocean. Cruise alongside the green mangrove walls, deeper into the island of Okinawa. Watch out for overhanging branches as you enter a tunnel of trees and bushes, before reaching the Gesashi Bridge. Return to the shore and take another look at the Gesashi River where fresh water mixes with the Pacific Ocean.
