Deep in the Wakayama Prefecture lies the Hyakkenzan Valley, a primeval forest valley marked by moss laden rocks, giant kettles, and many waterfalls. This trail is hidden away and you will not find another soul on it, and yet it over the years it has been developed with ladders and suspension bridges to guide you to the majestic waterfalls beyond. This tour will take you from the trail head to the lovely Amagoi Falls and then back down to where you started.
